SEA Change Biomedicine 2023 Pilot Information Session

Join SEA Change on November 4, 2022 at 12pm ET to learn about SEA Change Biomedicine and the upcoming opportunity to participate in the 2023 cohort of the SEA Change Biomedicine Bronze Award Pilot. An adaptation of the United Kingdom's Athena Swan and Race Equality Charters, SEA Change guides biomedical endeavors as they undertake a comprehensive quantitative and qualitative self-assessment of their policies, practices, programs, and procedures; determine the gaps between current conditions and evidence-based models necessary to promote equity; and develop an action plan that is subject to peer review.

Your institution does not need to be a SEA Change Member for your biomedical endeavor to participate in the pilot and apply for a SEA Change Biomedicine Bronze Award.

The 2023 pilot cohort will be open to any biomedical endeavors including entire academic health centers, schools of medicine, public health, nursing, optometry, pharmacy, and other health professions.

During this informational session, you’ll receive information on the benefits of participating in SEA Change Biomedicine cohorts and related SEA Change capacity-building activities, how to join the cohort, the cohort timeline, and the SEA Change process.
